First Day of HBS

The day has arrived. The day we have been preparing for, for over a year. The whole reason we are here in Cambridge and uprooted from our beloved Oregon. John's first day at Harvard Business School. I dropped him off this morning along with a few nerves and a bit of anxiety with so many unknowns for the day. However, he was also feeling confident and ready to take on this challenge. The first couple of days they have a jammed pack schedule with activities scheduled until 11:00pm! I can't wait to hear how the day went for him and what he thinks about his new school environment for the next two years.

Below is a picture of John's stack of cases for the term. He was only able to pick them up yesterday and already had to read a case last night and be prepared to discuss it in class today. He got his crash course as to what the term will be like! Harvard is known for their case method of teaching. The classes are made up of discussing and analyzing the cases in class.

Reading his first of MANY cases for HBS

He is thinking, "What have I got myself into!" Haha.
